Located at one of the most prestigious suburbs in Sydney’s eastern costal shore, this modern house comprises five (5) deluxe bedrooms, formal and private living, dual kitchens linked by a centralized courtyard and three spatial alfresco for outdoor activities, unveiling a magnificent image as soon as you step in.
The pleasing and well-balanced front elevation was impressive as its incorporation of both sense of openness and protection of privacy via rigorous testing of materiality and architectural forms. JRZ Group design team played with a wide range of textures, tones and patterns of the materials as well as roof and eave forms to find what worked properly to this particular house in Rosebay, with respect to modern aesthetics and to the client’s preference. Featuring by La Paloma half-brick, the rear façade expresses an elegant, peaceful and welcoming presentation to the nature and city context. While keeping the well-decorative swimming pool, the cabana house with an organic form brings the internal living to outdoor entertainment and gathering.
The interior design mainly focuses on multi-functional and flexible plans, allowing for interactions between the different spaces. An open arrangement provides plenty of options for accommodating and greeting guests. Detailed planning and exquisite infrastructure design enhance the sustainability of the living quality and bring it together to create this unique, artistic house in Rosebay.
JRZ has been working as the architect for the project. We’ve been liaising closely with PCA to ensure that our outstanding design comply with both the State Government’s and principal’s project brief. Up till now, the project is CDC approved and tendering for the construction.
