JRZ delivered a dazzling architecture resolution for a home alternative and addition in Double Bay. The existing house is situated at a heritage foreshore with great north-eastern aspect facing the Sydney harbour. While the biggest challenge of this design was to retain the “heritage” element at a restricted site, as much as possible, per requirement by the local council. Meanwhile our client wished to bring about the extravagance of the harbour living to this heritage shell. JRZ meticulously managed the multifaceted design from conception to receiving the approval from local council. The whole process maintains close contact with local council and heritage consultant, which paves the way to stamped approval for this challenging site and satisfied our client’s expectations.
